Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in preparing accurate cost estimates for various types of construction projects. You will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, and ensuring that all bids are competitive and comprehensive.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for site/civil construction projects including residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure development. This involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine the scope of work and necessary resources.
Pricing and Cost Analysis: Develop and maintain pricing databases and cost models to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. Review and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes to incorporate into overall project estimates.
Bidding: Prepare and submit competitive bids for construction projects. Ensure that all bids are comprehensive and align with project specifications and client requirements.
Change Orders: Manage change orders and ensure accurate pricing adjustments. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to address changes in project scope and budget.
Software Utilization: Utilize HCSS software for estimating and project management. Ensure that all estimates are accurately entered and maintained within the software.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates. Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters.
Cost Monitoring: Monitor and report on project costs and budgets. Provide regular updates to management on cost performance and potential issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator in the site/civil construction industry.
Proficiency in HCSS software.
Strong knowledge of change orders, pricing, and bidding processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/hr.
