Confidential Employer Technical Level Customer Support Specialist in Pottstown, Pennsylvania

 

*SUMMARY: *Provides software and office support as needed by completing the following duties.

 

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Handles Front Line & Tech Level Customer Support for BusBoss suite of products.
  • Handles new customer Data and Route Conversions. Compiles, manipulates and imports data, and verifies records and reports.
  • Maintains stock of BusBoss Installation guides
  • Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
  • Organizes and maintains customer file system related to data and route conversions.
  • Prepares BusBoss user and installation guides for new customers.
  • Provides onsite and remote software support, installation and training.
  • Compiles and prepares BusBoss Map Viewers at the sales reps' request
  • Composes and types routine correspondence.
  • Creates and maintains customer databases and spreadsheet files.
  • Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
  • Shows pride in his/her work in the duties he/she performs and maintains his/her work area clean.
  • Tests software updates as needed prior to distribution.
  • Will receive 90 Day milestone training list to ensure onboarding success.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Entry Level Computer Courses or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient in the use of SQL Server, Microsoft Word and Excel Software. Some basic understanding of Microsoft Access.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Pennsylvania State Driver's License.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel to and from customer sites may be required. Cu tomers are located throughout the United States, so travel may be in a vehicle or on an airplane. Travel expenses are all covered by the company using a corporate American Express card and a travel advance is provided for minimal out of pocket expenses. Company car is provided for travel by vehicle.
