Starting pay rate: $45.40/hr (non negotiable)
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Load & unload material and items of varying sizes, shapes & weights.
Perform commercial receipt of incoming material and verify compliance with Purchase Order requirements and document as required in computer data base.
Accurately store, count & issue material to support plant needs.
Responsible for performing receipt inspections in accordance with site processes and procedures.
Supports an environment that fosters a high performance culture and a learning organization.
Participates in activities for promoting diversity, both in the workplace and in the supplier base.
Seeks feedback on performance and opportunities for continuous improvement.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Receive, store, & issue a wide variety of material & components to support plant needs
Ensure that correct receipt inspection performed for each type of material received
Perform receipt inspection in compliance with site processes and procedures
Operate equipment, i.e. forklifts, order pickers in a safe efficient manner while loading, off-loading or handling material
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma
Three to five (3-5) years of related experience in applicable area
Ability to work Shift Work.
Ability to be certified as a Level II receipt Inspector per ANSI N45.2.6
Ability to be trained to operate fork lifts & similar material handling equipment.
Familiar with Work Control, Planning and Maintenance functions as it relates to Supply Operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS in related field.
