FedPoint Compensation and Benefits Administrator in PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire

What Youll Do: In this dynamic role, youll manage and administer FedPoints compensation and benefits programs with a focus on employee satisfaction, compliance, and business alignment. Your contributions will directly impact the way we engage, empower, and reward our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Health and Welfare Benefit Plan Administration (35%)

  • Leadannual open enrollmentand ACA reporting, ensuring smooth execution and compliance.
  • Manage the administration of health and welfare plans, includingnew enrollments, terminations, andQualified Life Events.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate and negotiatecost-effective benefits providersthat meet the needs of our diverse workforce.
  • Deliverengaging employee educationthrough group training, webinars, one-on-one sessions, and creative communication strategies.
  • Overseebenefit invoice reconciliation, ensuring accuracy in employee payroll deductions.
  • Ensure full compliance withfederal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and more.

2. Compensation Management (35%)

  • Drive the development and execution of compensation strategies that align withFedPoints philosophyand market trends.
  • Research and analyzepay practicesto ensure that we remain competitive and equitable across all levels of the organization.
  • Participate inmerit and bonus reviews,promotions, andmarket adjustments, ensuring every compensation decision reflects internal fairness and external competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to communicate compensation updates and providetrainingfor employees and managers.
  • Stay ahead of compensation regulations, includingpay transparencyandpay equity.

3. Leave of Absence and ADA Administration (20%)

  • Administer theleave of absence process, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Offer expert guidance to employees throughout their leave journey, helping them navigate complex situations.
  • Partner with managers to ensure seamless integration ofleave lawswithpaid time offand disability benefits.
  • Continuously improve leave processes, focusing onefficiency, cost savings, and legal compliance.

4. Special Projects (10%)

  • Co-chair theWellness Committee, promoting employee well-being and work-life balance.
  • Member of theSafety Committeeand contribute to asafe and supportive work environment.
  • Manage thetuition reimbursement planand oversee ouremployee assistance vendor.
  • Take on other excitingspecial projectsthat make a lasting impact across the organization.

What youll bring:

  • 3+ years experience as an employee benefits administrator and compensation analyst required.

``` - Coursework, seminars, training in employee benefits and compensation required.

``` - Current certification or designation in Employee Benefits and Compensation strongly preferred, such as CEBS, CCP, etc.

``` - HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, preferred

``` - Prior experience administering benefits via a HRMS required. Preferred: experience with ADP WorkForceNow.

``` - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint and various compensation platforms.

``` - Experience extracting and analyzing data to conduct analysis using various systems and tools.

``` - Experience working for a federal contractor a plus.

``` - High School diploma or equivalent required
