Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Material Handler I at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Portage. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to our world-class organization and make a difference in the scientific community.

Responsibilities:

• Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a flawless, accident-free working environment

• Effectively and accurately manage the handling and movement of materials within the facility, using suitable equipment and techniques.

• Collaborate with team members to determine priorities and successfully implement daily tasks

• Compete assigned tasks within specified timeframes to meet production goals

• Maintain inventory accuracy through precise data entry and effective organization of materials

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality

• Proven ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred

• Strong communication abilities and effective collaboration skills

• Proficiency in handling various types of materials and operating relevant equipment

• Familiarity with basic computer functions and proficiency in using common software applications
