Job Description

Join our team as a Manual Machinist where you will be tasked with servicing and repairing pumps and rotating equipment. You will work in our shop to recondition pumps from the field, machining parts such as internal pump components, shafts, sleeves, rings, impellers, heads, and casings. You will operate up to 36" swing on lathe and up to 60" swing on the VTL, including manual lathe, drill press, VTL, and knee mills. Responsibilities also include reading blueprints to custom make job shop parts and machining various metals like Cast Iron, Bronze, carbon steel, stainless steel, and duplex stainless steel.

Hard Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Manual Machinist

• Proficient with manual lathe and drill press

• Ability to measure in 0.0001” and hold sizes within 0.0005”

• Skilled in converting fractions to decimals and reading machinist scales

• Blueprint reading

Work Environment

Working hours are typically from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the potential for overtime during busy seasons.
