Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our manufacturing team located in Pompano Beach, Florida. As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, your main role will involve overseeing the accounts payable department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments, and maintaining effective communication with vendors. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Supervise the accounts payable team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment

• Utilize accounting software systems to input and manage customer data

• Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of vendor data in the ERP system

• Carry out regular audits to verify the correctness of account coding and accounting functions

• Assist in the weekly check run, ensuring all payments are processed correctly

• Communicate effectively with vendors, ensuring early payment and fostering strong relationships

• Handle sales tax matters, navigating the vendor system for sales tax reporting

• Contribute to the three-way match process, coordinating with internal teams as necessary

• Use ADP and Concur systems to manage financial services and expenses respectively

• Supervise the process of scanning and inputting invoices into the ERP system

• Exercise accrual accounting principles in the management of accounts payable. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding, with the ability to accurately categorize invoices and expenses.

• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems, demonstrating competence in using digital tools for financial tasks.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services, ensuring smooth transactions and financial operations.

• Strong skills in using Concur for expense management and report generation.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems and their application in streamlining business processes.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions, with the ability to perform tasks such as reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), with experience in managing and supervising the process of making payments owed by the company to suppliers and other creditors.

• Proficiency in Accrual Accounting, with the ability to record expenses and revenues when they are incurred, not when cash is exchanged.

• Experience in Auditing, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with laws and regulations.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, handling electronic payments and money transfers efficiently.

• Previous experience in Supervising, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
