Our work depends on a Information Security Analyst to help support the Cybersecurity Branch of Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA.

As an Information Security Analyst for the Cybersecurity Branch of NAWCWD, you will be responsible for ensuring the systems under your purview are kept current with regard to all security measures.

HOW OUR INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Performing all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction

  • Assisting the customer and/or contractor teammates with building or maintaining security documentation, policy, or procedures

  • Applying STIGs, patches, and software updates

  • Running scans and reports

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):

  • Security Clearance Level: Secret

  • Required Experience: 1 year

  • Education: BA/BS Degree (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience with DoD IT networks or systems

  • Experience mitigating network vulnerabilities

  • Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Location: Onsite at Point Mugu, CA

The likely salary range for this position is $60,549 - $101,109. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
