  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. College desirable but not required.

  • Experience

  • Desirable characteristics include: thorough knowledge of medical office operations, knowledge of billing systems, ability to interpret and supervise business policies of practice, special ability to communicate well with staff, physicians and general public, proficiency in written and verbal communications, possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public; a minimum of two years experience in a health care institution; ability the follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given; be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress. Must be computer literate.

  • Occasional walking, standing, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and pushing up to 300 lbs. Frequent sitting, bending and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. Must be able to see with corrective eye wear. Must be able to hear clearly with assistance. Tools/Equipment Used: Typewriter/computer, Printer, Copier, Fax machine, Adding machine/calculator, PBX, and Two way radio.

  • JOB SUMMARY

  • The Clinic Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining oversight of all non-clinical medical office functions including, but not limited to, scheduling reception staff, coordinating schedules for all providers, and ensuring that all medical office operations are functioning properly.
