Location: Onsite - Plymouth, MN Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Reports To: President of Sales *About the Role* Beacon Hill's client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Support Specialist to join their team in Plymouth, MN. This role is essential in driving business growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers, managing lead data within our CRM, and supporting the sales team with research and outreach. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with phone communication, and eager to contribute to the sales pipeline. This is an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity that in onsite in Plymouth, MN. *Key Responsibilities* *Lead Generation & Prospecting*
- Identify potential customers using online databases, LinkedIn, industry websites, and CRM tools.
- Research and qualify leads based on business needs, decision-making authority, and budget.
- Maintain and update CRM records with accurate contact details and lead status.
- Conduct in-depth research on target companies to tailor sales outreach strategies.
- Score leads to prioritize high-value opportunities.
*Customer Outreach & Sales Support*
- Make outbound calls to verify prospect information and assess business needs.
- Engage with current clients to identify replacement part needs and additional sales opportunities.
- Create and send price quotations along with relevant product information.
- Communicate with the sales team via phone and email to share lead insights and updates.
*Data Management & Documentation*
- Ensure CRM data integrity by regularly updating company and contact records.
- Track prospect engagement and maintain organized documentation of sales activities.
*Qualifications & Skills*
- Strong research and data management skills with experience using CRM platforms.
- Excellent phone communication skills-comfortable making outbound calls.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and qualify leads effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn, industry databases).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote sales team.
- Interest in sales with potential to grow into a sales role.
