Daikin Applied Learning Architect in Plymouth, Minnesota

Daikin Learning drives business value by providing excellence in learning to our external and internal customers. We provide technical HVAC education to sales and service organizations. We are on a mission to modernize the way we teach by enhancing our designs and leveraging technology to engage with our learners. The Learning Architect is responsible for analyzing areas where growth is needed and then designing and architecting learning curricula to deliver on business outcomes. Responsible for the management of multiple simultaneous projects and directing the work of internal and external resources. This position will need a deep knowledge of instructional design, program development, analytics, learning technology/modalities, and adult learning principles. The content in the Daikin Learning is highly technical engineering topics and would require someone with experience on highly technical topics. Location: Plymouth, MN - Remote or Hybrid may be available What you will do: Leverage high impact instructional design methodology to create engaging learning content and interactive learning experiences aligned to business results Design courses and develop curricula that ensure effective learning experiences Develop solutions that create powerful targeted learning experiences in a variety of modalities: virtual classrooms, eLearning, webinars, interactive video, learning pathway, social networking/mentorship tools, gamification, instructor-led, simulations, case studies, etc. Contributes to the evaluation and selection of learning technologies for the organization Serve as lead consultant for the instructional design process within the Daikin Learning organization for sales and service Manage multiple internal and external curricula/design projects Leverage problem-solving skills and frameworks to analyze business needs and to articulate relevant high-level perspectives on potential capability Management of multiple simultaneous projects and directing the work of internal and external resources Leverage standard learning project management practices and tools including: charter, scope, schedule, budget, risk and dashboard Accountable for projects to be delivered on-time, within scope and budget Establish and regularly report on baseline metrics for learning engagement, program outcomes and ROI Champion a continuous improvement mindset and a "can-do" approach to ensure value to the business Partner with leaders, sponsors and subject matter experts to identify critical skills, improve learning outcomes, align training with business goals and enable continuous learning Produce needs analysis, high impact learning maps and learner personas that deliver innovative, performance-based learning outcomes Measure learning outcomes using appropriate data and analytics Identify opportunities to leverage learning and collaborative technologies to enhance the learner experience What's in it for you: Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications: 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in Learning, Education, or Human Resources 10+ Years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning Architecture, Performance Consulting, or similar Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree or above in similar area of study Advanced Training Certificates Equal Opportunity Employment: It is the policy of Daikin Applied to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of ra e, creed, color, religion, gender, gender identification, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, genetic information, marital status, membership or activity in a local commission, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
