Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment, as well as conduct general building maintenance. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and designing and implementing preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment. You will also install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements and maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment as well as general building maintenance.

• Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Design, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment.

• Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements.

• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

• Work directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators.

• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Excellent mechanical aptitude.

• Familiarity with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics.

• Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions provided by manufacturers.

• Read, write, and understand English.

• Ability to read and interpret instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings.

• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior background in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing is a strong plus.

• Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus.

• Self-starter with willingness to perform other related duties as required.

• Able to work overtime as required.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical, and/or other areas is a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working in a clean environment that is not climate-controlled. The standard shift is 8 hours, with the flexibility to choose your own hours within the 10pm - 6am time frame. For example, you could work from 11pm to 7am.

This is a Permanent position based out of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
