Job Title: PLC Technician- Bot PC

Job Description

Candidate must be skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing damaged equipment. You will also assist in the development and selection of diagnostic test and troubleshooting tools, and contribute to the development of test procedures and equipment purchase proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair damaged equipment.

  • Perform mechanical assembly.

  • Assist in the development and/or selection of diagnostic test and troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixtures.

  • Contribute to the development of test procedures and maintain good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and repair area.

  • Develop proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance, and operation instructions.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

  • PLC troubleshooting and programming.

  • Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings.

  • Experience in automation and automotive mechanics.

  • 5+ years of experience with assembly and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of mechanical assembly experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part prints.

  • Self-motivated and highly organized.

  • Understanding of various types of mechanical and/or electrical test equipment.

  • Demonstrates initiative and is self-motivated.

  • Able to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is based in an indoor manufacturing site that is non-air-conditioned. You will be working with various mechanical and electrical test equipment, and must be comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 pounds.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plant City, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
