We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to become part of our RF / SATCOM Engineering team in an industry based in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be an integral part in satellite systems design, engineering support services, and training activities. You will be working alongside your peers to bring innovation to our programs and solutions, and you will complete engineering projects in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design of satellite systems and provide engineering support

• Conduct tests on finished products and system capabilities to ensure quality

• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

• Identify and troubleshoot design or fabrication problems with electrical and electromechanical systems

• Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests

• Comply with government regulations to maintain product and company reputation

• Develop technically sound designs that meet contract requirements, good engineering practices, and solve customer needs and problems

• Keep abreast of current state-of-the-art technologies and trends in electrical engineering and suggest product improvement ideas

• Provide high-level technical support to customers and other departments

• Deliver training to employees and customers.

  Requirements

• B.S Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET-Accredited Program / University.

• 10 + years of proven experience in SATCOM, RF Engineering, Telcom Engineer, or similar background is a must

• Prior experience in RF Engineering

• Several years TCP/OP, Routing and Switching experience is required

• Hands on experience with CAD Design Software

• Ability to work with Configuration Managment Tools

• Comfortable meeting with high level individuals in a highly secure environment

• Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance after being hired
