Excel Procurement Analyst

Our client in Plano, TX is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Analyst to join the team. This is a contract opportunity to start with the possibility to convert permanent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement department in various administrative tasks, with a focus on utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update procurement databases and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel

• Must have strong Excel skills, calculate Data, tracking, build excel spreadsheets etc.

• Generate reports and analyze procurement data.

• Assist with the procurement process with suppliers.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

• Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and resolve any issues that may arise.

• Assist in the MSP process.

• Support procurement team members with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data validation.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.

Pay Details: $22.58 per hour
