We are offering a temporary employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing various aspects of the accounts payable process, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate high-volume data entry transitioning towards fully automated invoice management

• Timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment disbursements

• Manage match exceptions and out of tolerance PO’s, resolving discrepancies with relevant personnel

• Regular review and reconciliation of vendor statements to maintain positive vendor relationships

• Monitor and manage purchase orders for timely and accurate processing

• Contribute to month end closing procedures

• Use of Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning tools to perform daily tasks

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Concur software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting

• Experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
