Job Description :

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Provides non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs exercise and pharmacologic Stress Tests and ECG's. (25%)

  • Applies Holter Monitor Records to both in and out patients, instructing the patients on proper care of the unit and maintaining patient diaries. Scans Holter Monitor results with a computerized scanning unit, and prepares data for physician interpretation. (25%)

  • Provides diagnostic 12 ECG testing to in and out patient population. (25%)

  • Maintains organized and complete documentation of clinical data for all procedures in accordance with established guidelines, and ensures the availability of complete electronic files for physician review. (25%)

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant or dysrhythmia course

  • CPR – American Heart Association

  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate

  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Preferred

  • Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program

  • Prior experience in the job
