Massaro Construction Group Restoration Technician - Disaster Services in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
POSITION SUMMARY: The Restoration Technician is responsible for performing the day-to-day functions and the production of work at Massaro Restoration job sites. This includes but is not limited to installation, troubleshooting, remediation and repair according to job-site requirements and safety.
GERNERAL DUTIES:
Maintains warehouse inventory in conjunction with Senior Project Manager.
Stocks and maintains warehouse and vehicles.
Performs skills needed on jobsites. Includes use of equipment and tools and strenuous physical labor under potentially adverse conditions.
Maintains and updates all paperwork and required information in system software.
Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in restoration projects.
Maintains a safe and clean jobsite.
Loads and unloads truck/trailer and hauls and hoists material.
Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed and brings issues to the attention of PM or Director.
Possesses the ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions necessary for communication and job completion.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED; Valid Drivers License
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Certification in Water, Smoke, Mold Remediation preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
OTHER SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: Must possess the ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail and work in a fast, high-paced environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires heavy lifting in excess of 25 lbs; Rotating on-call weekends; Able to respond to disaster situations no matter the time.
TRAVEL DEMANDS: Travel is required within a 100 mile radius of the office. Minimal overnight travel is required.
