UPMC Psychologist I in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

UPMC’s Center for Autism and Developmental Disorders (CADD) is looking for a licensed Psychologist to join the tea. CADD Child Outpatient Clinic serves over 1200 children and adolescents, providing diagnosis and treatment. The current staff comprises approximately 15 individuals, including psychologists, licensed therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists. In addition to offering clinical services, CADD also has a strong training and research mission!

Sign-On Bonus Details:

$5,000 for a 2-year contract

$7,000 for a 3-year contract

This position evaluates and treats patients with neurodevelopmental, behavioral, and mental health issues. Conducts diagnostic interviews and assessments, performs necessary testing, and provides feedback and recommendations to patients, families, and community agencies/providers. May specialize within the unit or offer specialty services to other programs. Coordinates with care teams to plan behavioral health treatment across different care levels.

Responsibilities:

· Supports patients in crisis with acute distress.

· Provides behavioral health services using validated treatments.

· Attends supervisory meetings to ensure program standards.

· Maintains accurate records and timely data collection.

· Skilled in differential diagnosis of psychiatric disorders.

· Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.

· Stays updated on relevant literature and treatments.

· Performs psychological assessments with accurate diagnoses.

· Uses acute and maintenance models for behavioral health services.

· Schedules patients to meet productivity standards.

· Ensures continuity of care with UPMC and external agencies.

Doctoral degree in Psychology (PsyD or PhD) from an accredited institution.

1 years of experience in Psychology or related field preferred.

Autism and developmental disabilities experience, especially diagnostic skills preferred.

Training in a range of evidence-based treatments is also highly preferred.

Excellent clinical interviewing and assessment/therapy skills to work with patients and families.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

Active PA Psychology License
