Reference #: 22325552 Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Mgr III - Contractor with our client in the financial industry. This is a hybrid contract position located in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas TX, Phoenix, AZ and Birmingham, AL.

Job Overview: The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully managing IT projects and delivering results while effectively managing project budgets and adhering to governance standards. Responsibilities: Lead the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring that project objectives are clearly defined and met. Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed budgets, timelines, resource requirements, risk management strategies, and governance frameworks, in collaboration with clients and stakeholders. Effectively manage project budgets throughout the project lifecycle, tracking expenses, and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget constraints. Identify opportunities to optimize project costs and resource utilization, making recommendations to clients and stakeholders as needed. Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure the successful execution of project tasks within budgetary constraints. Monitor project financial performance, providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders on budget status and financial projections. Collaborate with governance bodies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and industry standards. Conduct post-project financial reviews to evaluate project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure alignment with client budgets and financial goals. Leverage experience in the banking sector, particularly in mortgage and lending, to manage IT projects that enhance client services and operational efficiency. Utilize project management tools such as Clarizen, Jira, and Confluence to plan, track, and manage project activities and documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with a focus on financial management and governance. Proficiency in using project management tools, including Clarizen, Jira, and Confluence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and governance bodies. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals within budget constraints. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the banking sector, with specific expertise in mortgage and lending projects. PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
