Aerotek Production Worker in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

As a Production Worker, you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks in a manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include tagging and labeling products, building boxes for shipment, applying labels to boxes, packaging products, and documenting your work through daily reports. You will be required to go up and down stairs to print out labels and stack small drums onto skids for shipment. In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn more complex machine operations, which could lead to advancement to a Machine Operator role.

Hard Skills

  • Experience working in production or manufacturing environment is ideal

  • Experience in machine operation is ideal

  • Ability to follow simple work orders

  • Ability to write up reports and document daily activities

Soft Skills

  • Manual labor

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new tasks

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 months.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The work setting is primarily industrial and includes a warehouse area.
