Description

We are in search of a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in the Scientific Instrument Manufacturing industry, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role involves providing top-notch telephone and email support, processing purchase orders, and collaborating with various internal teams to meet customer needs. This is a contract employment opportunity, where the selected individual will play an integral part in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our customer data, ensuring a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality telephone and email support, focusing on order management functions

• Process customer purchase orders with precision and efficiency

• Collaborate with other departments and internal teams to ensure timely and professional resolution of customer requests

• Maintain current knowledge of all product and service offerings and suggest information about other products and services when necessary

• Accurately document customer information along with a detailed problem or issue description of all support calls or emails in a call tracking system

• Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative targets

• Utilize Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Oracle to maintain customer records and manage data

• Work effectively with team members to resolve customer issues, demonstrating strong attention to detail and resourcefulness

• Work independently as well as within a team setting, demonstrating adaptability and strong problem-solving skills. Provide quality telephone and email support with a high degree of customer service, expertise, and timeliness, focusing on order management functions.

• After successfully completion of training and under mentorship, answer product questions and suggest information about other products and services, process purchase orders, prepare correspondence, and work with internal teams to fulfill customer needs.

• Work with other departments and internal teams to assure timely and professional resolution of customer requests.

• Responsible for processing customer purchase orders with the highest level of accuracy and efficiency

• Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets.

• Ability to work effectively with team members to resolve customer issues.

• Maintain current knowledge of all product and service offerings.

• Accurately document customer information and a detailed problem/issue description of all support calls/emails in a call tracking system

• Requires strong attention to detail, outstanding resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.

Requirements • Candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent educational level.

• Experience in the Scientific Instrument Manufacturing industry is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in data entry is essential, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

• Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud is required.

• Familiarity with Oracle is necessary.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, are necessary.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• The ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment is necessary.

• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Familiarity with standard office equipment, such as fax machines and scanners, is desirable.

• The ability to understand and follow instructions is crucial.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

• Willingness to learn new software and systems is required.

• Must be able to work a standard work week, with occasional overtime as needed.
