DESCRIPTION OF WORK This Clerical Assistant 2 is responsible for the acquisition of equipment, materials, goods, and services, as well as monitoring the status of orders and reconciling monthly statements. Attention to detail is essential for ensuring necessary approvals are obtained for purchases, consulting with regional maintenance managers to identify priorities, and processing purchasing requests within contract requirements and commonwealth directives. This position also runs reports every pay period to verify employee time data and assists PLCB Maintenance Supervisors with hiring processes and procedures. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 75 hours biweekly Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation.  An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.  Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
