Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily administrative operations of our hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh. This is a part-time position, contract for a maternity leave for around 3 months - would end early June. Candidate would need opt work 3 days a week - hours 8am - 4pm. This is an entry-level position with limited responsibilities. The role primarily involves assisting the hotel management team with basic office tasks and ensuring smooth communication between departments. Pay: $18-19
Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls and responding to basic guest inquiries.
Assisting with check-in/check-out paperwork and guest records.
Maintaining filing systems for guest information and hotel documents.
Supporting the management team with general administrative tasks as needed.
Assisting in scheduling and coordinating staff shifts.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills.
Basic knowledge of office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
A friendly and professional demeanor.
Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, managing both inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality customer service.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy.
• Skilled in email correspondence, with the ability to respond promptly and in a detail oriented manner.
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring effective communication with clients.
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, edit, and manage spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, with experience in managing emails, calendar appointments, and contacts.
• Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, able to create and modify detail oriented presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, edit, and format documents.
