Description A Downtown client needs a temporary to hire Staff Accountant!

The role is hybrid with a flex work schedule.

Parking is not included

The Staff Accountant would be responsible for the following duties:

o Payroll Processing: Handle payroll operations, including calculating wages, deductions, and tax filings.

o Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage A/P and A/R processes, ensuring accurate invoices, reconciliations, and timely collections.

o Reconciliations & Compliance: Perform bank, credit card, and financial reconciliations while adhering to policies and regulatory requirements.

o Budgeting & Financial Analysis: Support budget management, analyze trends, and provide insightful financial reporting.

o Internal Controls & Special Projects: Maintain accounting policies, recommend process improvements, and assist leadership with ad hoc tasks.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficient in using NetSuite is a PLUS

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
