Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist provides technical surgical care to patients in support of care as directed by the physician and in accordance with established hospital goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing specified services for surgical patients under the direction and supervision of the Director or Coordinator.
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for acting in capacity as directed by the Director, Manager and/or Team lead.
Education and/or Experience
High school graduate or equivalent required.
CST program, Surgical Technologist/Technician Degree, or Surgical assistant program or equivalent.
Experience of one or more years as scrub member of surgical team is preferred, but not required.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- Eligible for or have CST certification.
Work Schedule
- Monday - Friday: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, every 6th weekend/holiday/call; 80 hours every 2 weeks.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $23.25 - $34.00 per hour
