We're pleased to announce that Nexagen has secured a long-term contract, leading to an immediate opening for Software Engineer ( Hybrid)   Qualifications :: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field Experience with development, build, testing, security scanning and configuration tools within Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in GitLab & GitLab CI Experience with AWS Platform as a Service (PaaS) services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, ECR, S3, CloudWatch and IAM Experience with shell scripting within Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Alpine and Ubuntu operating systems and containers Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance   Job Description: Design and development of software modules in an Agile development environment Requirements analysis, backlog population and user demonstrations Support Agile sprint planning activities Understanding of, and experience working within, the Scrum Framework Software configuration management using Git or similar tools Implementing and maintaining development tools and infrastructure Integrating system components throughout the software product life cycle (planning, building, testing, and deployment) Automating and improving development and release processes Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended Deploying software releases, updates, and bug fixes Performing root cause analysis of system errors and resolving technical issues Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance Knowledge of software and network cybersecurity best practices, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
