Shift: M-F, 8-hour days

Pay rate: $40-$48/hr., DOE

Locations:  Tempe, AZ, Deer Valley (North Phoenix) and Chandler, AZ

*This position is a 3–6-month contract with a possibility of extension.

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Assist client engineering teams in updating and correcting process documentation, including create new process specifications and work instructions

  • Establish tools for document access and distribution across the company. Maintain database and archive of documents

  • Create and maintain forms that document current systems and processes. Write and continually refine documentation covering specific areas

  • Research and build knowledge about products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented

     

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a technical writer or an equivalent combination of education and experience, working in a fast-paced environment

  • Communicate and collaborate with engineers and other team members, sometimes in different time zones, with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

  • Produce high-quality documentation and procedural material for multiple audiences, paying meticulous attention to details

  • Continuously improve the documentation quality based on review/approval process and feedback received

Preferred:

  • Technical writing in the Semiconductor industry is preferred

Physical Effort/Activities:

This position will be shadowing technicians and engineers, documenting processes as they occur in the cleanroom. May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
