Seeking a proactive Safety Specialist to lead and enhance safety protocols across project sites. Responsibilities include conducting safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance and performance standards. The role involves collaborating with teams to establish and implement safety documentation, practices, and policies aimed at fostering a robust safety culture through training, risk assessments, and compliance programs. You will be pivotal in monitoring performance, initiating accident investigations, and managing comprehensive environmental safety & health programs. This role requires adapting to varying project demands, ensuring all site staff and new workers are well-versed in safety standards and practices.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chandler, Arizona.

Work Environment

The position involves supporting two manufacturing facilities, one non-union with approximately 20 people and one union with about 30 people. You will work collaboratively with subcontractors and their safety representatives on-site. This is a salaried, exempt position with a focus on maintaining a work-life balance, not exceeding 40 hours per week.
