Responsibilities
The research lab of Dr Yonas Geda is seeking to recruit an outstanding postdoc with PhD or MD or equivalent degree. The postdoc should be motivated and willing to be mentored on the design and conduct of case- control, cohort and clinical trials as applied in the Geda lab. The postdoc will have an opportunity to have a basic understanding of neuroscience as applied in the lab work. The Geda lab is highly productive and has following 4 areas of research:
1) Physical activity/inactivity and risk of mild cognitive impairment and dementia
2) Cognitive activities/mentally stimulating activities and the risk of MCI/dementia
3) Time Restricted Eating in Alzheimer's Disease
4) Neuropsychiatric Symptoms and Alzheimers disease biomarkers.
The postdoc will have an opportunity to develop and expand career opportunities through individualized development plan. The postdoc will be given an opportunity to develop his or her own line of research in addition to the research focus of the lab.
Qualifications
Laboratory or clinical research at the post- baccalaureate level with an interest in a faculty member's line of study required.
Ph.D. post-baccalaureate M.D. or D.Sc. degree or equivalent in a relevant field of endeavor required.
Pay Range
$22.95 - $33.28 /hour
