Real Estate Paralegal

We are seeking aParalegalin our Real Estate group to join our growing Phoenix office. As a valued team member, you are a critical part of Dorsey’s client service team, working collaboratively with lawyers and clients on an array of substantive client matters. Are you a strong communicator and enjoy working independently and with a team? If you are an experienced paralegal with commercial real estate and financing transactions experience and strong organizational skills, then we would appreciate hearing from you. This is a hybrid position, which will require at least 4 days/week in the office.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform title and survey review for commercial real estate and finance transactions.

  • Communicate with attorneys, clients, local governmental units, title companies and surveyors.

  • Draft closing documents, signature documents, and title resolution documents.

  • Track transactions and coordinate closings.

  • Order and review title searches, surveys, zoning letters, and other real estate due diligence.

  • Form/Register entities, prepare UCC’s, and review zoning reports.

  • May be requested to perform other duties not mentioned above.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of paralegal program.

  • At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate preferred.

  • Knowledge of commercial real estate and finance transactions.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Proven analytical ability, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to work overtime if needed.
