Marketing Manager – Account-focused Marketing (Americas Marketing)

The America’s Lead Management team is looking for an experienced campaign marketing manager to lead our account-focused Marketing initiatives. You will work with your Sales and Marketing team colleagues to create ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and identify groups of accounts matching those criteria. Factoring in intent indicators, engagement analytics and Sales feedback, you will select specific accounts and be responsible for the design and execution of multi-touch marketing campaigns to targeted segments within those accounts. With Sales, you will work as partner, organizer, facilitator and serve as “mission control” for all execution and results tracking.

Candidate must live in Phoenix, AZ metro area.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Sales leadership and your Marketing colleagues, create several ideal customer profiles (ICPs) that will vary by Avnet products and solutions. You will need to learn the Avnet business, as well as market pain points/challenges at a macro (industry) and micro (account) level.

  • Develop a content library associated with these ICPs and the Avnet value propositions for each. To scale your account-based marketing efforts, the content must be applicable across all accounts identified for an ICP and re-usable across multiple campaigns.

  • As part of the content library development process, capture core messaging hooks from Sales and Marketing teams and expand/elaborate on those messages to create specific buyers-journey content “paths” for prospects within those target accounts.

  • Work with Marketing teams to plan, build and execute marketing outreach sequences, employing a variety of tactics including digital advertising, sequenced email, direct mail, Sales outreach and others. The ideal candidate will have experience in any of these areas (or other Marketing specialties)

  • Become a power-user of ZoomInfo, which will be your essential tool to identify accounts that meet your ICP criteria, find the right people at those accounts and monitor “intent” signals that ZoomInfo measures for those accounts.

  • Organize weekly meetings with teams from Sales and Marketing to keep projects on track.

  • Align with senior Sales leadership and other executives to communicate upcoming campaign plans, results and lessons learned from past campaigns.

  • Measure, analyze and regularly report on the impact of campaigns on strategic accounts, buying groups and contacts, as well as performance against core business KPIs.

  • Apply an experimentation mindset to account-focused campaigns to drive, test, learn and optimize.

Job Level Specifications

  • Campaign marketer with strong project management skills and ability to use data to guide decision-making and prioritization.

  • Demonstrated experience working with Sales and Marketing teams.

  • Familiar with ABM tactics, metrics and how they relate to enterprise buying cycles.

  • Must be marketing tech-savvy and comfortable using Marketing and Sales platforms (ZoomInfo, Marketo, Salesforce and related).

  • Prior ABM training (Forrester, etc.) preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Understanding lead lifecycle concepts (the typical marketing and sales funnels) is a bonus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, effective time and project management skills.

Distinguishing Characteristics

  • 3-5 years of Marketing campaign experience required (work on ABM campaigns during that time strongly preferred).
