Honeywell Lead Hardware Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona
Conceptualize, design and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team. You will be a key technical focal point across Honeywell Aerospace engineering teams creating solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. By collaborating with customers and broader engineering teams, you will influence hardware design directions and methodology developments. As a hardware engineering technical expert, you will leverage advanced tools and simulation techniques to deliver high impact business results while acting as a technical leader and coach for other engineers.
Use your advanced knowledge of the hardware engineering discipline, processes, and tools to help Honeywell innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of displays and graphics products (Anthem Platform) by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor to more junior engineers. You will interact with internal and external customers to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
Minimum 7 years of electrical hardware/circuit design experience with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of electrical hardware design with Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of Experience in Digital Circuit Design
Minimum 3 years of experience with Video Interface Design
Minimum 3 years of experience with Schematic capture and design
Minimum 3 years of experience with modern processing technologies and architectures including micro-processors, FPGAs, memories, and high-speed IO
WE VALUE
Some coding (Python, VB, VBA, C++, or any other conventional language) and interfacing with lab equipment to create optical models. Preferred
Proficiency with Mentor Graphics X-petition Enterprise Design Flow, Mathcad, MS Excel, and LT-Spice. Previous Aerospace Engineering experience is preferred.
LCD Backlight and backlight drive/control design/theory (Fluorescent lamp, LED, other emerging technologies). preferred
Demonstrated experience performing Product / LRU and Printed Board Assembly (PBA) design verification and qualification.
Knowledge of DO-254, Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware and RTCA DO-160 Qualification Guidelines.
Demonstrated experience designing, simulating, analyzing, and verifying design performance to requirements.
Significant relevant experience
Master's Degree or advanced professional certification
Expert knowledge of product and process technologies or broad knowledge of multiple product and process technologies
