Setup and support of network, both wireless and cabled, computers and printers in general, video surveillance and software used by the staff. Provide technical assistance to computer users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems in person or via telephone or electronically. Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, email, and operating systems. Interface with providers of network and/or IT Services (e.g., Cox, Shepherd, Idexx, etc.). Create and maintain documentation of the IT Setup. Provide routine outpatient support under veterinary supervision, including patient restraint, filling prescriptions, wound care, ear cleaning, etc. Provide inpatient care including venipuncture, in-house lab tests, IV catheters, monitoring of patients. Surgical preparation of surgery suite and patient. Patient monitoring during anesthesia procedures. Assist with dental radiology, routine dental scaling, and polishing. Communicate professionally with pet owners. Ad hoc duties as needed.
