Develops and applies test cases and procedures for the organization’s products. Communicates with product developers and technical support specialists on product issues. Operates under close supervision. Scope of impact should be to improve cost, quality, and time-to-market for Software Testing within a functional area of a particular product. Usually reports to the Quality Control Manager. This is an entry-level position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs moderately complex testing tasks according to company's QC process.
Plans, schedules and implements testing projects.
Designs and develops quality testing procedures; updates and modifies existing tests as necessary.
Defines test objectives and writes test cases.
Performs moderately complex functional, integration, regression and performance tests.
- Plans and implements automated testing.
Plans and implements mobile testing.
- Assists product developers and technical product support specialists in solution of moderately complex installation problems. Work Location:Philippines, Makati City Qualifications: Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or business.
Quality Control (to include functional, mobile & automation testing): At least 6 months work experience in the same practice and/or industry; Industry: 0-5 years
Technical Knowledge & Skills:
Basic test process knowledge;
Understanding of defect management (writing, reporting);
Understanding of Test Case Development (writing, executing, reporting).
Mobile testing;
Database management;
Task-oriented, results-driven, team-player, proactive
