Aloft Philadelphia Downtown Room Attendant - Full Time in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Full opportunities available to work 9a-5:30p weekdays and 10a-6:30p weekends and/or holidays.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Maintain high cleanliness standards of the hotel in all guest rooms, following procedures for entering/exiting guest rooms and following all safety protocols.
- Properly handle all equipment and cleaning chemicals (i.e. washer, dryer, detergents, etc.)
- Recover and communicate to Housekeeping Manager any and all lost and found items.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage closets, guest laundry areas and corridors.
- Watch for and promptly report any potential safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Greet each guest that you may encounter in the hallways, lobby or public areas. You are an Aloft ambassador -- help us make our guests feel special!
OUR MUST-HAVES:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and to give/receive information clearly.
- Collaborative with a team-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high spaces; observe conditions, detect odors, position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs. in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters; lift, carry and position loads of at least 25 lbs. These abilities are required for an entire shift.
