Robert Half is seeking an ambitious, experienced Internal Audit Manager for an immediate opening at a dynamic, progressive company. In this Internal Audit Manager position, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing internal audit activities, with a focus on building and maintaining a strong SOX framework. The Internal Audit Manager will play a key role in ensuring the company's compliance with internal controls, financial reporting, and risk management procedures. This Internal Audit Manager role is remote and is a permanent employment opportunity that is not to be missed!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust SOX framework, which includes conducting SOX compliance audits and ensuring adherence to COSO internal control principles

  • Lead and conduct internal audits across various departments, including financial, operational, and IT audits

  • Identify and assess internal control weaknesses, recommend improvements, and oversee their implementation

  • Prepare comprehensive and professional audit reports, which include findings, recommendations, and action plans

  • Collaborate effectively with external auditors, addressing their inquiries and providing necessary documentation

  • Stay updated with internal audit best practices, industry regulations, and SOX requirements

    Requirements

The ideal Internal Audit Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA strongly recommended.

Other requirements for the Internal Audit Manager position include and are not limited to:

  • 8+ years of experience in internal auditing, consulting, or related fields, with a proven track record of leading and managing both IT and BP audit engagements.

  • In-depth knowledge of SOX requirements, COSO internal control framework, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • NetSuite experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
