ACE American Insurance Company Full-Stack Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Full-Stack Engineer (ACE American Insurance Company (Chubb), Philadelphia, PA): Developing and maintaining applications that are on emerging, as well as legacy, technology platforms; Executing design and code reviews, performance tests, test automation, and unit test strategies; Reacting to shifting priorities without compromising deadlines and momentum; Leading proactive maintenance and monitoring of systems/applications rather than reactive, through collaboration with the Infrastructure group and production support team; Leading and developing Cloud-based systems and digital transformation initiatives as appropriate and in line with both business and technology vision and needs; Evolving and implementing a set of standardized processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness and quality of the application maintenance and support activities; and Collaborating with other enterprise IT teams or external vendor solution providers to drive increasing maturity of the managed services model tied to specific business outcomes, such as driving down operational costs, reducing outages, reducing technical debt, addressing security vulnerabilities and reducing backlog of defects. In order to complete the above-mentioned tasks, the following experience and skills are required: Experience with Angular and React, HTML; Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and Typescript; .Net Core experience; Experience with no code / low code platforms, and Unqork; Experience in Integration with Mainframe, IBM MQ and Kafka; Experience with Azure; and Experience with Jenkins, Build scripts and Shell Scripts; and Experience in SQL Server stored procedures. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a closely-related and directly-applicable computing focused engineering field (such as Electrical/Electronics Engineering), and at least five (5) years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer. Itinerant Employment - Employee may be required to work at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Incidental travel may be required to client's offices located throughout the U.S. Option to work from home partially may be available.
