Job Description

DUTIES: Design and develop new software and web applications using Scrum methodology; perform system and network administration; managing incidents following the ITIL framework and industry standard incident management techniques; troubleshoot incidents for live video, cloud DVR, and video on demand outages; analyze back-end infrastructure for video delivery; utilize Splunk, Elastic, and Grafana for data analysis; analyze aggregated data within ClickHouse database; troubleshoot operational issues, provide technical solutions to operational problems, perform new product implementation, implement existing products and services, and provide overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering; interface with vendors, engineering and peer operations organizations; lead technical bridges and provide troubleshooting direction; ensure projects are fully integrated into the operations environment, including lifecycle problem management; create data and metric systems to track operational workflows; maintain records of results and feedback; analyze data and metrics, identify problem areas and provide actionable insight; perform complex and routine maintenance tests for designated areas of engineering; identify, isolate, and escalate issues to appropriate personnel; analyze problems in design, configuration, data flow, and data state; and lead the integration of projects into operations, including instrumentation, automation, standardization, and methods and procedures. Position is eligible for 100% remote work.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software using Scrum methodology; performing system and network administration; managing incidents following the ITIL framework and incident management techniques; troubleshooting incidents for live video, cloud DVR, and video on demand outages; analyzing back-end infrastructure for video delivery; utilizing Splunk, Elastic, and Grafana for data analysis; and analyzing aggregated data within ClickHouse database.
