DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: E-Commerce Sales Manager - Pure Play
About the Role Essity Consumer Goods is looking for an experienced E-Commerce Sales Manager to develop and maintain strategic relationships with high-value e-commerce accounts, driving profitable business growth. You will analyze customer data, negotiate contracts, and coordinate activities across markets to meet sales targets. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and project management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do * Develop and Maintain Strategic Business Relationships: Promote brand awareness and secure profitable business by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with major accounts. * Sales Processes and Account Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor customer-specific sales processes and account plans to meet or exceed sales targets. * Analyze Customer Information: Frequently analyze customer information to discover and manage business risks and opportunities. * Recommend Products and Services: Suggest products and services that align with clients' business needs, providing a strong value proposition. * Drive Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations, including terms and conditions, product offers, and pricing, in line with overall product and pricing strategies. * Provide Ongoing Support: Set up and lead the key account team, managing internal resources according to the relevant Key Account Agreement (KAA). * Re-evaluate Customer Prioritization: Annually reassess the prioritization of allocated customers and propose necessary actions. * Market and Competitor Analysis: Generate insights on market developments, customer needs, and competitor activities, and share this knowledge with internal stakeholders. * Develop E-Commerce Assortment: Create e-commerce-specific assortments based on shopper insights and customer needs, suitable for multiple customers and markets. * Propose Pricing Strategies: Suggest pricing corridors and guidelines for e-commerce offers, and facilitate cross-border pricing across relevant categories and business units. * Coordinate Activities: Coordinate relevant activities across markets and collaborate with stakeholders.
Who You Are * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field. * Proven experience in account management, sales, or a related field, preferably within e-commerce or digital sales. * Experience managing high-value accounts and driving business growth. * Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze customer data and market trends to identify opportunities and risks. * Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills to drive contract terms and pricing strategies. * Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders. * Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate activities across different markets. * Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software, e-commerce platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
