Role Purpose

The key focus of this role is the management of effective supplier service provision relating to accident damaged motor vehicles (including light commercial vehicles), commercial building and liability claims.

You will be accountable for optimising the overall performance of our key partners, to ensure timely provision of key services to both internal customers and Capricorn Members.

By managing the relationship with key suppliers effectively this role can actively enable Capricorn to reduce costs, improve quality, improve overall service provision to our Members, increase Member satisfaction, and grow our Member base and market share.

Capabilities Required

Skills, Knowledge and Attributes

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to network and deal with vendors and suppliers.

• Strong leadership ability.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Ability to proficiently plan, organize and facilitate meetings and functions.

• Member focus and orientation.

• Maturity in dealing with conflict.

• Capability in dealing with Member or Supplier dissatisfaction and complaints and ability to determine root cause as well as corrective action required.

• Microsoft Office suite experience.

Experience

• 10 years + Insurance industry experience.

• 5 years + experience in supplier management and or logistics.

• Understanding of Insurance related compliance and relevant Legislative requirements.

• Experience in managing performance of external partners.

Qualifications

• An appropriate tertiary qualification in business will be highly regarded.
