The Opportunity:

During this exciting growth period we have an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our civil engineering team in our Perth office. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering Civil infrastructure projects. Experience with land development and/or building civil works will also be looked at favorably.

The role has a wide variety of responsibilities including engineering design, streamlining the production of deliverables and preparing technical reports and proposals. To ensure technical adherence and quality assurance standards are met, you will work with Senior Engineers and Designers to assist the design team to develop and deliver engineering deliverables.

At this level, there will be opportunities to liaise directly with the Project Manager and Client to provide regular project updates and prepare technically sound and well written proposals and reports. Clear communication with the Client to develop and maintain strong a relationship is key.

We place a strong emphasis on collaboration, both within our local office and KBR nationally. As such, you will likely work with interstate colleagues to deliver engineering projects.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent), including the ability to obtain chartership.

  • Infrastructure project experience working within a multi-disciplinary environment.

  • Substantial experience in general road engineering, particularly Main Roads and general Civil infrastructure design.

  • Experience in Civil infrastructure, Defence, land subdivision and building civil works.

  • Prior experience providing mentorship or leadership to junior team members.

  • Must hold Australian perm residency or citizenship.
