Education/Experience: Minimum 6 years of related work experience Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field or equivalent years of work experience. Required Skills/Competencies: 2+ years of experience in Orchestrator, general automation, PowerShell, and other scripting. Ability to test, debug, and extend automation solutions and tools Automation and IT technical support of an operating manufacturing facility 4+ years of experience and/or working knowledge of Windows and VMWare software. Senior level knowledge of server hardware (Dell, Cisco UCS and others a plus). Experience should include monitoring, installation, configuration, tuning and management. 4+ years of experience with a 24/7 Datacenter Environment desired. 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SCOM desired. 4+ years of experience with VMware ESX Server desired. Knowledge of backup and storage concepts. Experience with PowerShell required Expertise automating server OS creation including storage provisioning and OS updates Knowledge of patch management practices for a Microsoft Windows environment. Understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and load balancing. Familiarity with network security protocols and practices, including firewall management, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs. Familiarity with ITIL a plus. Exposure to SOX controls, processes, etc. Working knowledge and/or prior experience in Cloud offerings (SaS, IaaS, PasS) a plus. Essential Responsibilities: Develop, configure, and implement automation workflows using Microsoft Orchestrator tools. Create, test and deploy automation scripts, and processes to streamline server and infrastructure management. Ensure that automation workflows comply with organizational standards and best practices. Utilize project management skills and manage day-to-day priorities. Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of server environments, both physical and virtual. Coordinate and manage incident response and resolution processes for server and infrastructure-related issues. Analyze and resolve complex problems related to servers, network, and storage systems. Provide training and support to junior team members and other IT staff on best practices related to automation and Microsoft Orchestrator tools. Act as subject matter expert for Microsoft Orchestrator automation, advising on best practices and potential improvements. Develop and maintain documentation for automated processes, configurations, and system standards Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement automation solutions to optimize operational workflows. Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards. Performs other assignments as required. Must be able to be on-call on a periodic basis. Reporting Relationships: What is the reporting relationship? Will this position have direct reports? (or use "This position will not have direct reports.") Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Orchestrator automation tools. Ability to design, deploy, and manage complex automation workflows and scripts. Proficiency in server configuration, optimization and maintenance. Strong scripting skills with PowerShell. Ability to write, test and debug scripts to automate routine tasks. Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V and cloud service providers such as Azure and AWS. Understanding of networking principles and protocols that affect server operations.
