Job Title: Plumber - Perris
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced plumber with expertise in utilizing copper pipes, PVC, and other materials. The candidate should be capable of building a bathroom from start to finish, including framing, rough-in plumbing, and all installations. The primary role involves inspecting modular trailers and performing necessary repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Inspect modular trailers, including chassis, tires, axles, hitches, and wiring.
Move from bay to bay inspecting trailers and replacing parts as needed.
Change tires, axles, brake pads, springs, adjusters, hangers, and hitch parts.
Work on trailers with up to 6 axles, mainly on those with 3 axles.
Complete 4-6 or more units per day.
Maintain a clean shop and clean trailers, including floors, walls, and counters.
Assist and train in refurbishment, check-in, and modification of trailers.
Perform carpentry repairs on floors, walls, roofing, siding, windows, and fixtures.
Inspect and repair trailer brakes, hitch, axles, tires, and locks.
Install company signage following guidelines.
Wash and prep trailers for delivery to customers.
Perform rent check-ins and physically inspect all incoming units.
Maintain clean working areas inside and outside, including the lawn, parking lot, and building.
Perform regular inventory checks and orders.
Attend regular safety meetings and maintain a safety-first mentality.
Provide courteous customer service.
Essential Skills
Plumbing experience with copper pipes, PVC, and other materials.
Strong mechanical experience, possibly from auto mechanics.
Safety consciousness with a preference for OSHA 10-hour safety training.
Ability to work with hand and power tools.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer knowledge.
Carpentry knowledge.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Electrical, plumbing, and welding skills are a plus.
Janitorial experience.
Ability to use and operate a floor buffer.
Must have own basic hand tools (hammer, screwdrivers, wrench set, tape measure, etc.).

Work Environment
The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, including working inside trailers that may not have air conditioning. Hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility required. The dress code includes steel toe boots, work pants, and a t-shirt, with the company providing safety glasses and gloves.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Perris, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
