Honeywell Lead Field Service Technician in Pennsylvania

As a Lead Field Service Technician, you will be leading successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems in HVAC, mechanical, electrical or fire controls without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of Engineering teams. You will make improvements to training guides and documentation. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. You will represent Honeywell at industry conferences and provide technical presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 7 days on call rotation every 4-5 weeks, will be traveling throughout surrounding areas.

  • Ability to explain the function, operating characteristics, and appropriate applications of automation control loops as found in direct digital, analog electronic, electric, and pneumatic commercial control systems.

  • Ability to utilize general-purpose software and specific building automation software to monitor and control a building HVACR system and building electrical systems.

  • Applying safe practices to the installation and troubleshooting of modern building automation systems

  • Install or Repair Work Orders

  • Provide Customer Support

  • Mentor and Train Jr. Field Service Representatives

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent

  • 5+ years of field experience in HVAC controls.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Willing to travel within service area.

WE VALUE

  • NICET I or II certification.

  • 1+ years of field experience in fire controls or mechanical inspections.

  • Previous technical/installation experience.

  • Displays industry professionalism such as work ethic, communication, and time-management.

  • Previous customer service experience.

  • Good written and oral communication.

  • Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes.

  • Bachelor's degree or technical/professional certification
