Aerospace Defense & Marine (AD&M) is a Business Unit within TE Connectivity’s Industrial Segment. With over $1.3B in annual revenue, AD&M is a leading market player delivering mission-critical hardware/component solutions that power & connect applications in commercial air, defense, and oil & gas markets.

Position Overview
AD&M Strategy and Business Development team, is looking for a talented individual to help shape AD&M’s portfolio composition, competitive strategy and support growth objectives. The Analyst will work directly with the Sr Manager Strategy and Business Development and Sr Director of Corporate Strategy to support the most important strategic initiatives across AD&M Business Unit, including:
Help AD&M develop and deploy strategies that drive above-market organic and inorganic growth
Gather real-time input as the external market evolves
Help identify new growth platforms, growth opportunities within business units, and across businesses
Conduct primary and secondary market research and analytics to support growth initiatives
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will have the following primary responsibilities:
Conduct primary and secondary market research, using internal and external sources, to support internal and external stakeholders
Develop strategies and approaches to fulfill complex project assignments in creative and meaningful ways
Tracking and analysis of AD&M’s public & private competitors
Conduct analytics / evaluation / screening of new inorganic segments and opportunities
Identify key trends across markets, industries, and competitors that affect our businesses
Create analytical models to address key business questions and translate output into clear findings and recommendations
Support the successful development and deployment of the annual strategy development process and regular executive meetings

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a technical discipline (Engineering, Quantitative, Finance) from a leading institution
MBA, CFA, or another advanced degree from a top program is preferred
3-5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, market research or quantitative analysis
International experience or exposure is a plus
Experience creating executive-quality presentations and communicating complex ideas and plans
Excellent with MS-Excel and MS-PPT; proficiency in data analytics suite (Tableau, Alteryx, SQL) is a plus
Track record of demonstrated leadership potential through academics, work, and/or community activities
Strong sense of tact, confidentiality, and maturity

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $108,000 - 162,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
