Group Summary

The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. About the Role

A Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that their designated production cells meet production requirements. TheTeam Leader

will complete the task of maintaining the installed measures.

Your Responsibilities

• The Team Leader must be capable of doing all the jobs in the cells assigned.

• Ensure that established OEE quality/availability/performance standards are achieved within designated cells andworkstations.

• Where an established OEE or safety standard is not being met, identify the root cause and take the appropriateaction.

• Ensure that operators use standard work and associated tools to meet standards.

• Maintain, post, and report on the critical cell measures (OEE, parts per available hour, 5S audits and correctiveaction).

• Train all new operators and make sure all operators understand and adhere to Standard Work and all requiredpractices (e.g.

5S, autonomous maintenance procedures, kanban systems operation).

• Complete project work as assigned, including improvements in standard work.

• Fill in for production operators when required (i.e. washroom needs, meetings, etc.).

• Participate in lean concepts training as required.

• Ensure that all environmental requirements are identified and addressed when performing duties.

• Provide support for business system goals, ensuring that all applicable requirements are met.

• Provide support for the continuous improvement initiatives within Techform.

• Provide support in the attainment of Techform's "Quality Operating System" goals as outlined by the key graphs.

• Carry out all duties focusing on the goal of internal and external customer satisfaction.

• Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or designate

Your preferred qualifications

Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent is an asset

• Superior organizational and communication skills

• Strong knowledge of the occupational health and safety act

• A grade 12 diploma or equivalent is a definite asset

• A minimum of one (1) year in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a team lead role, is desirable.
