Job Summary:

Advanced Energy is seeking an enthusiastic Planning Intern engage in initiatives to achieve planning excellence, automate reporting, enhance operational efficiency, develop KPI dashboards, and advance digitalization in the supply chain. The ideal candidate should have a strong drive, analytical mindset, and a process-oriented approach, with a keen interest in supply chain management challenges.

• Planning Excellence: Collaborate with regional teams to implement advanced planning strategies and tools, identifying areas for improvement in existing processes.

• Automation of Reporting: Work with planning and data analytics teams to streamline reporting processes, identifying inefficiencies and designing automated solutions for better accuracy and efficiency.

• Process Enhancement: Continuously assess supply chain processes using lean methodologies and root cause analyses to optimize operations and reduce costs.

• KPI Dashboard Creation: Partner with regional teams to design user-friendly KPI dashboards that provide real-time business insights for strategic decision-making.

• Digitalization Initiative: Support the integration of digital technologies in supply chain operations, participating in projects that implement tools like Macro and Power BI for improved visibility and efficiency.

• Training and Development: AE will provide mentorship and guided responsibilities to facilitate your growth during this internship.

Requirements:

•  Basic knowledge of data analysis, automation tools, and reporting software.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.

• Candidate must have own transport and willing to working at Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Software Systems Development, Data Communications and Networking or a related field.
