Detailed Description

The Penang design team will work closely with our global design engineering teams in developing leading-edge Hardware Platform Solutions in Networking, Storage, and server solutions from general-purpose to customized Cloud, AI, machine learning, Edge, and 5G deployments. A Rework lab technician supports engineering activities, including the fabrication and modification of assemblies and prototypes. Working from schematics or layout diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, perform the work as needed.

Job Description:

● Superb soldering & hot air rework skills of thermocouple cables

● Hands-on experience in the building of electronic devices and mechanical fixtures necessary for product testing.

● Experienced in the assembly and rework of prototypes.

● Be able to confer with engineers and others to generate rework instructions. Assist Lab Manager with lab space management.

● Manage the lab equipment and warehouse material management.

Job Requirements:

● Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical

● 2 years of relevant working experience in Rework is compulsory.

● Experience using Lab equipment (Power Supply, DMM, Temp Chamber, Oscilloscope, Thermal Measurements and Torque Tools).

● Effective verbal and written communication skills.

● Strong collaboration, team skills and a continual learner attitude.

● Creative problem-solving skills.

● Effective time management skills.
