Job Title: Chef
Duties: This position is for the food and service industry. Duties include but are not limited to ensuring all dishes are cooked well and presented pleasingly. Monitoring equipment quality and food supplies and ordering as needed. Overseeing other kitchen staff to ensure the operations of the kitchen staff. Motivating and inspiring small kitchen teams and providing customers have a pleasant dining experience. Applicants must be able to work day, evening, and weekends as well as some holidays.
Additionally, direct the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of salads, Pizza, meats, vegetables, desserts, or other foods. Plan and price menu items, order supplies, and kept records and accounts. Supervises and participates in cooking and baking, and the preparation of foods. Projects goals for labor dollars or percentages. Uses labor dollars and menu costing programs to price labor and food cost percentages. Must participate in checking all purchased supplies for quality and account for each delivered item.
Duties include and arenot limited to managing Arti's culinary duties to support Arti's Italian Restaurant and managing food preparation.
